Bronx, N.Y. – The Fordham women’s basketball team enjoyed its first Thanksgiving weekend contest in the Bronx since the 2013-14 season, defeating RV Northern Colorado, 48-33, on Friday night inside the Rose Hill Gym. The Rams will be extra thankful for their team defense, holding Northern Colorado to 25.5% shooting overall and 1-of-26 from behind the arc (3.8%), and the work of senior forward G’mrice Davis, who tallied her fourth straight double-double, finishing with 14 points and 17 rebounds, plus a block and four steals in 33 minutes. With the win, the Rams improve to 2-2 on the year, while the Bears fall to 4-2.
