It’s not often that Irenaeus of Lyon is brought up at an athletics event. But it was perfectly appropriate for the second century Christian theologian to be mentioned at the inaugural Fordham Athletics Gala and Hall of Fame Ceremony on Saturday, April 22, at 583 Park.
