Riverdale, N.Y. – The Fordham women’s basketball team trailed its crosstown rival Manhattan Jaspers in the all-time series for the last three decades but have now won all seven of the series’ last seven contests under head coach Stephanie Gaitley, including Wednesday night’s 54-48 victory to take a 25-24 lead in the long-standing rivalry. The win is also Fordham’s second straight, improving the Rams to 3-2 on the year, while the Jaspers fall to 2-4.
