Brooklyn’s Thomas Jefferson High School has one of the best players in New York City. Sunday Dec 9, Kareem Welch, a senior at Thomas Jefferson HS, poured in 64 points in their 143-80 win over Paul Robeson in the PSAL AA Division. Welch knocked down 8 three pointers in the game, grabbed 11 rebounds and dished out 7 assists. In Thomas Jefferson’s first three games so far, Welch is averaging over 50 points per game, scoring 50, 41 and 64
Kevin Tabb added 21 points, with 3 treys, 9 rebounds and 6 assists Jaguan Carlos scored 18 points and had 19 assists, and Justyce Coleman scored 14 points.
Jefferson bounced back from a 86-85 loss last week, to improve to 2-1. Jefferson will play Lincoln Tuesday Dec. 11, at 5pm, at Abraham Lincoln high school in Coney Island.
